Arc of Acadiana Residential Services- Bossier, LA What You’ll Do As a Full-Time LPN, you will provide hands-on nursing care in a residential setting while supporting the health, comfort, and dignity of the individuals we serve. Nursing & Resident Care
Provide direct nursing care and respond promptly to resident needs.
Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
Perform skilled nursing tasks such as medication administration, wound care, tube feedings, catheterization, respiratory treatments, and other prescribed treatments.
Collaborate closely with DSPs, supervisors, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Communicate with physicians as needed and report changes in residents’ conditions. Medication Administration
Prepare and administer medications accurately and safely.
Verify resident identity prior to medication or treatment administration.
Monitor medication supplies and report needs or discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate narcotic counts and medication records.
Report medication errors or concerns immediately to nursing leadership. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain clear, timely, and accurate nursing documentation.
Transcribe physician orders and update medication records and care plans.
Ensure charts reflect care provided and resident response.
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards. QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For
Active Louisiana LPN license (required).
Experience in residential or long-term care preferred; new graduates are welcome.
Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
