The Registered Nurse performs daily rounding, inserts and assesses intravenous access and PICC lines, and gathers data for central line audits. Additionally, they provide staff education on IV management and contribute to quality initiatives through nursing councils.
Candidates must be a licensed RN in Maryland with at least one year of experience and a BLS certification. A degree from an accredited nursing school is required, while a BSN and CRNI certification are strongly preferred.
Our Registered Nurses complete daily rounding, insertion, assessment of intravenous access, and PICC lines gathering statistical data for Central Line audits. They provide staff education in such areas as IV management and infection control practices. The team is also involved in various nursing councils and committees, contributing to quality initiatives in the area of vascular access.
8:00 am - 8:30 pm; Weekends required
Must be licensed (RN) to practice in Maryland, or practice eligible, with at least one year of experience Diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school or enrolled in a BSN program CPR for the Health Care Provider (BLS) required CRNI (Certified RN Infusion) is strongly preferred In addition to the above basic certification requirements, CN III requires the following (choose one): Obtained a BSN or Enrolled in a BSN program Certification in a National Specialty is encouraged.
