The therapist evaluates patients to establish functional goals and provides treatment according to a written plan of care. They are also responsible for discharge planning, documenting interventions, and supervising clinical students or support staff.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Basic computer literacy is required, while advanced certification in a primary practice area is preferred.
