The LPTA implements physical therapy plans of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve patient function and safety. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
Requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Technology from a CAPTE-accredited program and a current Ohio LPTA license. A valid driver's license and experience in geriatric care are also required.
