The Monitor Technician is responsible for the continuous surveillance and documentation of patient cardiac rhythms via telemetry monitors. They must identify arrhythmias and promptly notify the healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
Requires completion of a telemetry or EKG interpretation course and 0-2 years of clinical or clerical experience in a medical setting. BCLS certification is mandatory.
