The Registered Nurse provides holistic and systematic therapeutic care to patients and families in a pediatric GI clinic. Responsibilities include integrating clinical knowledge and skills to provide essential patient and family education.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Louisiana State RN license and BLS certification. Proficiency in English communication and basic computer skills are required.
The Registered Nurse provides safe therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way, incorporating differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Relies on education and training to complete responsibilities within scope of licensure as registered nurse.
