The therapist provides assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, psycho-education, and assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field and possess a valid Arizona State license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW). A minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health and CPR certification are required.
Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Outpatient Therapist to work in a Group therapy setting. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with the following groups: The Licensed Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient’s in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Social Work, or a clinical related mental health field.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in behavioral health, with direct experience in family, group, and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills preferred.
