The role involves serving as a Nurse Communicator within a critical care setting. The employee will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital.
The candidate must be qualified to work as a nurse in a critical care environment. The position is a full-time role on the day shift.
90% FTE, full-time. Day shift, Monday-Friday 36hrs/week No Weekends No Holidays.
You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital.
Lead critical conversations that support shared decision‑making between patients, families, and the care team in the ICU.
Serve as a trusted bridge—translating complex medical information, prognosis, and goals of care with clarity, compassion, and expertise.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate family meetings, support palliative care consultations, and improve the critical care experience.
Shape and advance communication practices through mentorship, quality improvement initiatives, and innovative care models in critical care settings.
