$64 - $97 / HOUR
Provide intermediate care to postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological patients, including well newborn care. Manage patient assignments based on acuity, typically maintaining a 2:1 patient-to-RN ratio.
Requires a BSN or ADN with a current Oregon State Registered Nurse License, BLS, and NRP certifications. Candidates need one year of postpartum or medical-surgical experience, though new graduates with a relevant senior capstone are considered.
Maternal Newborn Certification Inpatient Obstetric Certification Medical/Surgical Certification International Board of Certified Lactation Consultation (IBCLC) Prefer 1-2 year’s experience in a high risk obstetric unit, LDRP unit or medical surgical experience. Additional Details Length of Orientation – Experienced Nurse External candidates: OHSU & Nursing New Employee Orientation (NEO) for about a week. Either Transition to Practice (TTP) Program Specialty Fellowship/Fellowship Learning Pathway or Orientation experience for 3 days-26 weeks depending on the care area.
