Perform comprehensive patient assessments and safely administer medications and treatments within an observation telemetry unit. Act as a patient advocate by educating families on treatment plans to ensure a smooth transition to self-care.
Requires a valid Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license from the Kansas Board of Nursing and BLS certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and IV certification is preferred at the time of hire.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
You must possess a current IV Certification at the time of hire to perform essential functions.
