Assists in the procurement, preparation, and distribution of medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Manages non-discretionary tasks including patient billing, inventory control, and sterile compounding of pharmaceuticals.
Requires a high school diploma and a California Pharmacy Technician Certificate. Candidates must obtain a Los Angeles County Fire Card and Assault Response Competency certification within 30 days of employment.

• Assists in the procurement, storage, preparation and distribution of medications, all under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist. The technician is also responsible for patient billing, inventory control, and other non-discretionary tasks relating to the maintenance of the Pharmacy.
