Assists pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders for a diverse patient population. Performs technical duties related to the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals across various pharmacy function areas.
Requires current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia and at least one year of experience. PTCB or NHA certification and experience in sterile compounding and pediatrics are preferred.

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
REQUIRED: Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia. One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician PREFERRED: Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Experience with Sterile Compounding & Pediatrics Work Hours: 6;30am-3:30pm
