The APP provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with benign hematology and oncology needs. Responsibilities include conducting physical assessments, establishing diagnoses, managing treatment infusions, and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active Florida license. A Master's or Doctorate degree is required for NPs, and a Bachelor's or Master's for PAs, with oncology experience preferred.
Description The Cancer Center of South Florida is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to practice at the Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute in collaboration with both the Inpatient and Outpatient Benign Hematology Oncology team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care in a multidisciplinary setting.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE · Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program OR · Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
PA: · Active PA license in State of Florida. · Active PA board certification. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES · Oncology experience preferred
