The Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing for surgical procedures and maintaining all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment. They function as a key member of the surgical team and participate in quality improvement activities.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with a current BLS certification and either a professional certification (C-SA or C-ST) or at least two years of verifiable experience. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures is required.

Education: · High school graduate or equivalent
Licensure/Certification: · Prior verifiable experience as a scrub technician on the OR setting prior to 2009 Or
Certification in OR Technology as a (C-SA or C-ST).
