The CRNA is responsible for evaluating and preparing patients for anesthesia and administering the required anesthetics. They also perform post-anesthesia duties in accordance with departmental policies within a team-based environment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia for nurses and be board eligible or certified. Required credentials include an unrestricted Iowa medical license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
