The Registered Dietitian is responsible for implementing a standardized Nutrition Care Process to identify and treat patients requiring medical nutrition therapy. This includes modifying therapeutic diets and providing nutrition counseling to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an ACEND or AND approved program and be registered with the CDR. State licensure in Kentucky is required within three months of hire.
Registered Dietitian I Full Time – 5 Days/Week 0800-1630 – Holidays, Weekends, and On-Call Responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, employees, and the community in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health. Job Duties: Establishes and implements a standardized Nutrition Care Process to identify and treat those patients requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy. Maintains pertinent patient data necessary to recommend, prescribe, or modify therapeutic diets as needed to meet the nutritional needs of the patients. Develops and provides nutrition education/counseling to patients, patient family, and patient caretakers.
