The Medical Assistant coordinates direct patient care activities and provides clinical support to providers within the practice. Key duties include checking in patients, obtaining vitals, managing medication reconciliation, and navigating the EPIC EHR system.

The MA will be responsible for the coordination of direct patient care activities and providing clinical support to providers within one of our clinical practices.
Current Medical Assistant Certification from AAMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or AAMP.
Or graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program with current unrestricted licensure.
Upon hire, all Medical Assistants will undergo a clinical competency assessment and must successfully complete MA orientation. Those who do not meet the required standards will be enrolled in the Medical Assistant Trainee Program for further development and evaluation.
Basic computer skills, experience with EMR System a plus.
Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
BAT and DOT certifications required for Medical Assistants in Occupational Medicine within 90 days of hire.
