Market context

California OMS roles favor licensed specialists

In California, oral and maxillofacial surgeon roles are typically competitive because employers look for a DDS or DMD, accredited OMS residency training, a valid California dental license, and board certification or active pursuit of it. Candidates with surgical experience and strong credentialing are often well positioned, especially where patient volume and referral relationships matter. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly compare fit, then confirm your licensure and certification status before applying.
