The Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive patient assessments and manage both acute and chronic conditions. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
Candidates must hold an active New York State Nurse Practitioner license and board certification in Family, Adult, or a relevant specialty. DEA registration is required, and while experience is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
A well-established, multi-location medical practice in the heart of Suffolk County is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team.

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical exams
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
Develop and implement patient treatment plans
Provide patient education and preventive care counseling
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license: Board certification (Family, Adult, or relevant specialty)
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
