  • How you’ll make an impact in this role Coordinate and facilitate patient admission according to patient acuity, bed availability, and required services.
  • Perform onsite clinical assessments of potential candidates.
  • Coordinate transfer process, working with referral sources, insurance companies, and various healthcare staff and departments.
  • Monitor patient’s insurance status during hospital stay.
  • Assist with development and improvement of processes designed to keep referral sources informed of patient status and discharge recommendations.
  • Provide pre-admission assessment, insurance verification, and pre-certification for admission

What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration

Registered Nurse preferred. Rehab Therapist preferred. Social Worker preferred.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking Experience with health care admissions processes and pre-authorization Familiarity with payer sources and insurance products
