Perform therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services to maintain patient oxygenation and acid-base balance. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and modify individual patient care plans.
Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Must hold a valid license or temporary permit from the MS State Board of Health.
The Respiratory Therapist (NonReg) performs both therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services necessary to improve and/or maintain an adequate oxygenation/acid-base balance. The Therapist will develop and collaborate patient care with healthcare staff and physicians. The Therapist will practice compliance with standard policies and procedures.
