The Medical Assistant is responsible for managing patient medical history and coding via EMR while providing direct clinical support such as taking vital signs. They also maintain exam room hygiene, manage medical inventory, and coordinate insurance authorizations and referrals.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge, and obtain BLS certification within 14 days. An associate's degree, CMA/RMA certification, and prior clinic experience are preferred.
