Provide essential support to nurses by assisting patients with daily living activities and monitoring vital signs in a Med-Surg unit. Ensure patient safety and comfort through repositioning, fall prevention, and prompt response to patient needs.
Requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and preferably Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in a hospital or Med-Surg setting is preferred along with the ability to handle physical demands.

Full-Time | Days | Nights As a CNA on the Med-Surg unit, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Your work directly contributes to patient comfort, safety, recovery, and the overall success of the care team in a dynamic hospital setting. What You’ll Do Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information Support admissions, discharges, and patient transfers throughout the unit Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall prevention measures Provide post-operative care support by monitoring patient comfort and reporting concerns Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient rooms and clinical areas Respond promptly and compassionately to call lights and patient needs Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN or care team Assist with specimen collection and transport following protocol Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment What We’re Looking For Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience) Previous experience in a hospital or Med-Surg setting preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment What You’ll Bring to the Team Compassion and dedication to delivering outstanding patient care Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively Dependability and a strong work ethic Ability to prioritize and respond quickly to changing patient needs Commitment to maintaining patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to assist with patient movement (up to 100+ lbs with support) Exposure to clinical environments, including infectious diseases and biohazards Fast-paced, high-volume Med-Surg unit requiring flexibility and teamwork Why You’ll Love Working Here Supportive and collaborative Med-Surg team environment Gain experience with a wide variety of patient conditions and clinical cases Opportunities for career growth within acute care nursing Make a lasting impact on patient recovery and outcomes every single day If you are a compassionate CNA looking to join a team that values teamwork, patient care, and professional growth, we’d love to connect with you.
