Candidates must be a board-certified Physician Assistant with an associate degree or higher in PA studies. Experience as a first and second assist in the OR and post-cardiac surgery recovery care in an ICU setting is required.

Assist in surgical procedures within the cardiothoracic surgery department Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care for patients Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop treatment plans Monitor patient progress and address any complications Educate patients and families on treatment options and post-operative care Document patient information accurately in medical records Participate in surgical rounds and team meetings Stay current with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery practices
Associate degree or higher in Physician Assistant studies Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) Experience in a surgical or cardiothoracic setting preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment Commitment to continuous professional development Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
