Perform direct and indirect nursing care for patients across various departments including Emergency, Pediatrics, and Surgical units. Responsibilities include implementing patient care plans, supervising support staff, and maintaining accurate computerized documentation.
Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in a systematic approach to the direct and indirect care of patients and their families.

Requires a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and a current Minnesota RN license. Candidates must have at least one year of Emergency Department experience and hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
