The Dental Assistant provides clinical support during dental procedures and manages the preparation and sterilization of treatment rooms. They also facilitate communication between dentists and patients to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
Candidates should have knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, with a C.D.A. preferred. Required state certifications, licensure, or registration must be possessed.

Greet and prepare patients for treatment Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures Provide post operative instructions and patient education Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA Maintain dental supply inventory Perform other related job duties as assigned Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology C.D.A. preferred Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
