Provide basic patient care activities and non-professional services to ensure patient comfort. Assist nursing staff in the Oncology department with daily patient needs.
Completion of a nurse aide training program or passing the written and clinical examination is preferred. Experience is preferred but not required.
St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a full time Nurse Aide for our Oncology department. The Nurse Aide assist in providing basic patient care activities for which employee has been prepared as well as non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
Successful completion of nurse aide training program preferred or successful challenge of written and clinical examination.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff; manual dexterity required to use hands easily and skillfully while aiding patients.
