The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities include managing medications and administering intravenous psychiatric therapies, specifically ketamine and Spravato.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a PMHNP certification and valid Texas state and DEA licensures. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders Administer and monitor intravenous psychiatric medications and infusion therapies Develop personalized treatment plans in partnership with patients and their families Provide medication management and educate patients on their treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate holistic care for patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records to ensure continuity of care
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric/mental health Current PMHNP certification Texas state licensure DEA licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Passion for delivering high quality psychiatric care to individuals in need Must live in or near San Antonio, as you will be required to be onsite of our San Antonio clinic Bilingual - Spanish is a plus
