We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gastroenterologist (MD or DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality digestive health care. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and liver biopsies, to evaluate and manage gastrointestinal conditions. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ medical history, needs, and preferences. Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. Accurately and promptly document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology. Valid medical license to practice in the State of Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure). Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a practicing gastroenterologist following completion of an accredited gastroenterology fellowship program.
