Responsible for medically assessing clients upon intake and administering treatments for substance use disorder under physician supervision. Duties include daily bedside rounding, documenting patient progress in electronic records, and coordinating care with the medical team.
Requires a valid Kentucky Practical Nursing license and CPR certification through the American Heart Association. Candidates must pass a drug test, background check, and TB skin test, and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsible for medically assessing clients upon intake to the agency. Special level of skill required for the treatment and care of substance use disorder clients. Evaluate the needs of potential and current clients as well as administer treatments and therapies under the direction of the Agency Physician or Psychiatrists as well as the Registered Nurse.
Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing are required when communicating with co-workers, families, and other service providers. Physical demands are light with walking, standing, and occasional stooping. Possible exposure to communicable diseases during contact with individuals released from various locations i.e. jails, hospitals, unsanitary conditions, rehabilitation centers, etc.
