Prepare patients for examinations by taking vitals and recording medical histories while assisting physicians during dermatology procedures. Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and educate patients on treatment plans and skincare.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Medical Assistant certification preferred. Candidates should have proven clinical experience and proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology relevant to dermatology.
Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history. Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available. Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times. Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices. Ensure the examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
