Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) | Ocala, FL Job Summary We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide remote therapy services for clients in need of ongoing mental health support. This role involves meeting with clients through virtual sessions, helping them process challenges, and using structured counseling approaches to support progress. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, building therapeutic relationships, completing clinical notes, and creating treatment plans that reflect each client’s needs. This is a straightforward clinical role for someone who enjoys steady telehealth work and values organized client care.

Responsibilities

Provide remote counseling sessions for clients using telehealth tools Build therapeutic rapport with clients in a virtual setting Complete intake assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations Identify client goals and create individualized treatment plans Support clients with emotional regulation, coping strategies, communication skills, and behavior changes Keep detailed and timely clinical records Recognize safety concerns and follow proper protocols when needed Maintain professional boundaries and ethical clinical practice Active Florida LMHC license in good standing Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Experience providing counseling services to adults, families, or diverse client populations Comfortable delivering therapy through telehealth Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions $115,000–$120,000 per year Full-time position Remote / telehealth work setting Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match If this sounds like the kind of clinical work you do well, we welcome your interest in this remote LMHC opportunity.
