The overnight counselor maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for homeless or at-risk youth. Key duties include performing intake screenings, conducting hourly safety checks, and transporting youth to appointments.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate degree in human services is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and strong communication skills.

$20.00 (40 hours per week)
Medical, dental, vision, FSA, voluntary life, STD, LTD, Legal Plan, Pet Insurance available the first of the month following thirty (30) days of employment, 403(B), tuition reimbursement, vacation, personal, sick and 11 observed holidays.
Under the direction of the Program Manager of RHY, the overnight counselor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a clean, safe and healthy therapeutic environment for young people who have left home, are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
Accurately complete the screening and intake process for youth who are accepted into the program.
Conduct hourly visual checks on youth to ensure safety and well-being throughout the night.
Facilitate morning routine to support youth in preparing for their day.
Transport youth to various appointments and activities using St. Anne Institute vehicles.
Thoroughly and accurately document all information and data required for funding sources and oversite agencies.
Requirements: and Education:
High school diploma required, associates in human services preferred; strong written and verbal skills to communicate with colleagues and allied professionals in and outside the agency; ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member and maintain confidentiality; experience working with homelessness/child welfare systems preferred; valid driver’s license required.
