The Registered Nurse coordinates professional nursing care for Emergency Department patients through assessment, planning, and implementation of interventions. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, administering medications, and maintaining detailed medical records.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a valid New Hampshire RN license and ACLS certification. Two years of Emergency Department experience and proficiency in rhythm recognition are preferred or required.
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned patients. The Emergency RN carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
