Assists clients in their homes/facilities with personal care activities, exercises, ambulation activities, and medication reminders. Performs simple treatments and procedures such as changing dressings per RN instruction. Provides minor household chores, meal preparation, and runs errands. Communicates with supervisory personnel appropriately.
Successful completion of a formal certification training program and/or written skills test and competency evaluation.
C.N.A. or H.C.A. certification and/or experience preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Valid car insurance to meet minimum requirements.
Maintains a current CPR certification.
Requires completion of a formal certification training program and a valid driver's license with insurance. CNA or HCA certification and current CPR certification are preferred or required.
