• Range: $17.00 - $19.00 HourlyDirect Support Professional - Fabius Area (Job #EL-KR) A 36-year-old female in the Fabius area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her within her home and with her evening routine per diem. She likes to play her piano toys, listen to music and nursery rhymes, look at books, and watch videos on her iPad. She also likes to do puzzles or walk on a treadmill with assistance. She also likes Sesame Street. The ideal candidate is friendly and attentive. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel to the home and would remain at the home for the duration of the evening. The ideal candidate must be willing to provide personal care when needed and provide assistance during mealtimes. The ideal candidate must be observant and a good listener, as this person communicates with a few short words or phrases. The ideal candidate must be comfortable assisting with a motorized chair as needed. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.
• Hours and days of work: One weekday evening 5-10pm, can be weekly or flexible/occasional scheduling
• Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.00/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

• Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community. Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
