Facilitate therapeutic services including individual, group, and family counseling for clients with substance use and behavioral needs. Perform intake, assessment, case management, and referral services in accordance with organizational policies.
Requires a Master's degree in a license-eligible field and a valid South Carolina license (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LISW). Preference is given to candidates with two years of experience working with children and those with a compatible faith belief system.
Licensed Clinical Counselors facilitate therapeutic services in accordance with Epworth Center for Counseling policies and procedures. Licensed Clinical Counselors provide individual, group and family counseling services to clients and significant others with substance use problems, at-risk behaviors and/or behavioral needs. In addition, provide intake, assessment, case management, referral, and intervention services as needed. This is a part-time, employed, fee for service position and is not an independent contractor.
Master's degree in a license-eligible field. LPC/S, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPES, LPES-A, LISW-CP, OR LMSW in South Carolina. Two (2) years-experience working with children who have therapeutic needs preferred, but not required. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry. Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church. Bilingual is a plus!
