The Pharmacy Technician handles the non-judgmental aspects of preparing and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision. They are responsible for the accurate, timely distribution of medications and completing projects assigned by management.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Technician Manager, the Pharmacy Technician performs all the non-judgmental aspects of preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Maintain an ethical, professional behavior that ensures efficient, accurate, timely distribution and control of medications dispensed through the pharmacy. Maintain and reflect a positive attitude representing the pharmacy department as well as the entire hospital. Shall complete projects assigned by the Pharmacy Technician Manager/Supervisor or Pharmacy Operations Manager in a timely manner.
