The COTA assists the Occupational Therapist in providing direct resident care and implementing treatment plans. Responsibilities include maintaining compliant documentation, educating families on home exercise programs, and facilitating the procurement of adaptive equipment.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program and a valid state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. Proficiency in Net Health and Point Click Care software is required.
