Functions: Understands and satisfies the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regard to their growth and development process.
Program
Development: develops, implements, manages, markets and evaluates a program plan.
Nursing
Process: synthesizes and evaluates the individualized patient/family responses along the continuum of care; makes changes in treatment within the scope of practice. Negotiates systems, plans and directs the implementation of change related to program plans and standards.
Case
Management: uses case management as a strategy to assist in managing a population; collaborates with the multidisciplinary team in the establishment of goals and implementation of the plan of care; identifies priorities and realistic outcomes for intervention; identifies and communicates potential solutions to variances; implements identified solutions.
