The Registered Dental Hygienist provides preventive dental care, including cleanings and periodontal assessments, while educating patients on oral health. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring strict compliance with infection control protocols.
Candidates must hold a current RDH license, a degree from an accredited dental hygiene program, and CPR/BLS certification. Experience in pediatric or general dentistry and certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide are preferred.
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program Current CPR/BLS certification required Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and periodontal therapy Excellent communication and patient education skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with dental software and digital charting preferred
