Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days) – Operating Room (Ortho) Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Full Time- 40 Hours; Days; Monday-Friday 0630-1500 holiday and on call required Surgery highlights: · Texas Health Dallas has 24 Main OR Suites, 2 Endovascular rooms, 3 Robot rooms, 2 Heart rooms. · Fast Paced, High Volume of Robot, Urology, Plastics, GYN service line · Level I Trauma facility. Strong Minimally Invasive CV program

• Here’s What You Need · Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma · BSN (Preferred) · 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required) · RN Operating Room experience in Ortho (Strongly Preferred) · RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire) · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) · ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Preferred) What You Will Do · Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process · OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills · Assesses the patient · Plans the care of the patient · Intervenes as appropriate · Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions · Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. · Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information · Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
