We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working a 12-hour shift with a 2/3 rotating schedule to join our clinical team.
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles plays an important role in providing compassionate, patient-focused care while supporting the nursing team in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. CNAs help patients feel comfortable, respected, and supported throughout their treatment experience.
In this hands-on role, CNAs assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility assistance. They also monitor vital signs, observe patient behaviors and conditions, and report any concerns or changes to the nursing staff to support quality patient care.
CNAs also help maintain a clean, organized environment that promotes patient safety and well-being while offering encouragement, emotional support, and positive interaction to patients each day. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred Experience working with geriatric psychiatric or behavioral health patients strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team A current resume with complete work history required
