Education Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in
• Nursing
• Required
• Qualifications: Minimum of 1 - 3 years of current Lactation consultant, NICU, or OB nursing experience Maintain current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required by date of hire Demonstrated expertise in specific clinical area of practice Demonstrate excellent patient interaction/communication/education Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
