Provide expert lactation assessment, management, and education for breastfeeding dyads and pumping parents, primarily within the NICU and newborn inpatient units. Coordinate comprehensive care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and a current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in lactation consulting, NICU, or OB nursing and a valid Iowa nursing license.
