The Certified Pharmacy Technician provides distributive pharmacy services and supports the registered pharmacist. Responsibilities include refilling automated dispensing systems, filling medication carts, preparing orders, maintaining inventory, and compounding medications.

How you’ll contribute
A Certified Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role provides distributive pharmacy services and support for the registered pharmacist. Additionally, they will:
Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
Fill medication carts daily.
Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
Repackage bulk medications.
Compound IV hazardous and non-hazardous medications

Candidates must have a New Mexico Board of Pharmacy Technician license upon hire and a CPht certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technician within six months of hire. Experience in pharmacy services is preferred.
