The OR Registered Nurse manages nursing activities for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This includes caring for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric across various surgical specialties.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited professional nursing school with a current Texas RN license and certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS. A minimum of two years of previous operating room experience is required.
$10K SOB Available
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. Our scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
