The Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Surgery assesses, diagnoses, plans, and implements medical care for patients in collaboration with physicians. They deliver individualized care, manage interdisciplinary plans, and ensure effective communication among healthcare providers and patients.
Our cardiac program is supported by approximately 20 cardiologists and 3 cardiothoracic surgeons.
Job Description: The Cardiac APC will:
Work collaboratively under the supervision of on-site cardiologists Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiac care, including: Pre-procedure evaluations Post-procedure evaluations Managing cardiac discharges and coordinating with the hospitalist team Follow-up inpatient assessments Evaluating new inpatient or Emergency Department consults Triage of urgent and emergent cardiac patients Participation in the post-cardiac-discharge Transition of Care Clinic EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Master's: Nursing

Pay Range is $193,024.00 to $279,884.80 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a Master's in Nursing and possess relevant certifications and licensure. A minimum of 5 years of recent relevant experience is required.
