The Advanced Practice Provider performs physical exams, formulates diagnoses, and develops treatment plans for patients across all age groups. They collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality clinical management and patient education.
Candidates must be a Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed in California with a current DEA license and CPR certification. Experience in a related field or primary care internship is required, with a preference for ambulatory care experience.
At NorthBay Health the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Primary Care functions as a member of the multidisciplinary medical team. The APP is a health care professional with advanced education and training in the care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The APP works under the direction of a licensed physician. The APP is also directed by standardized protocols and procedures and in collaboration with the supervising physician.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is classified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of California.
The APP will work in Napa/Solano County Areas.
