Provide medical care to hospice patients, including determining eligibility and managing pain and symptoms. Collaborate as a member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with knowledge of Medicare regulatory requirements and basic technology skills. A valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and CPR certification are required.
Provide medical care to hospice patients. Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management. Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Education and experience, essential Must be a graduate of an approved school, and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state in which they currently practice. Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare conditions of participation. Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Education and experience, preferred At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred. At least three years of clinical registered NP experience preferred.
Must possess a valid state driver license Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions Must possess CPR certification
