Assist hospital patients with activities of daily living and basic medical tasks under the direction of nursing and medical staff. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, managing bladder irrigations, and promoting a collaborative teamwork environment.
Requires a current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license, BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital-based experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred along with basic computer skills.

Assist in care of hospital patients under the direction of nursing and the medical staff. Position is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care, and for promoting teamwork among co-workers.
Assist with activities of daily living i.e., bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing. Take and record vital signs, finger stick, blood sugar and I&O’s, apply ice bags, aqua K pads, and maintain continuous bladder irrigations. Complete or review worksheet of assignments for patient care within 30 minutes of shift change. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in his/her assigned service area. Obtains and documents vital signs as instructed per nurse.
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license. BLS is required prior to beginning orientation or working on a floor. One (1) year full or part-time (greater than 20 hours per week) hospital-based experience required. Basic computer skills required.
